For the 35th anniversary of DIMB – Deutsche Initiative Mountainbike e.V., we redesigned and rethought the Trailnews as a special edition.

The project moves beyond a classic association publication, introducing a format that is closer to a fanzine—more direct, more visual and more connected to the community. A new editorial approach, combined with a younger and more accessible design language, strengthens identification and engagement.

The result is a publication that not only informs but also reflects the culture of mountainbiking. It creates a sense of belonging and translates the values of the community into a contemporary visual form—bridging structure and emotion while staying rooted in its origins. A reversible cover reflects this dual perspective: one side looks back at the past, the other points towards the future.
